The Hillington Park Innovation Centre

The Hillington Park Innovation Centre, Glasgow backed by Scottish Enterprise Renfrewshire and European money, represented a bold move by the developer, Caledonian Land.

It was looking for the high-tech companies of the future, growing out of an innovative idea. Such companies will hopefully have high growth but, addressing emerging markets with cutting-edge products, they are also likely to be extremely high risk.

Vipond were delighted to be awarded the contract to install the sprinkler system within the new centre. The contract was both challenging and rewarding due to the unusual curves and angles of the buildings 'innovative design'.

The project was started and completed in 2000.
