National Library of Scotland

The National Library of Scotland boasts the largest and most varied collection of reading material in the country numbering some eight million books.

We at Vipond were asked to install an automatic fire alarm detection system covering some 19,167 square metres using Notifier's (one of the worlds leading manufacturers) Id 2000 system.

Given, that some of the contents of the building are quite "literally" (pun absolutely intended) irreplaceable, Vipond were proud to be asked to carry out the work.
